Keep safe.
If someone you love is being hurt, you cannot always be there. Sixele lets her keep a private record, and choose you as one of the people who can act on it if the worst happens.
Be there if the worst happens
If she chooses you as a guardian, you join a small group she trusts. You install nothing: everything you are ever asked comes as a link in a message, and the page it opens keeps nothing on your phone. Until something happens, you see nothing: not her entries, not her photos, not when she writes.
If she sets a time to be home by and does not say she is safe, you are asked to check on her. If you and another guardian both say you cannot reach her, her file opens, and what she chose to share can reach you, a lawyer, the police or a court. No one guardian can open it alone, and if she says she is safe at any point, it stops.
- 1She invites you, in her own words, on a channel she trusts.
- 2You open the link and say yes. Nothing more is asked of you.
- 3If she does not say she is safe, you are asked to check on her.
- 4Her file opens only when two of her guardians say they cannot reach her.
It will not give her away
On her phone, nothing shows the Sixele name or mark. Her safe opens only with her phrase and her PIN. That protects her from a glance at her phone, not from a close search, and the app tells her so.
You can help keep it private. Do not mention Sixele in messages or calls someone else could see or hear, and do not ask her about it in front of anyone. The message she sends you will not name it either; neither should your reply.
- Tell her in person, somewhere private
- Do not send her a link or a screenshot
- Do not ask about her safe in front of others
- Do not keep the messages you are sent
What she records will hold
Each entry is sealed with the date and time the moment she saves it. If anyone changes it later, the seal shows it. That gives her record weight if she applies for a protection order or goes to court, now or years from now.
A court decides what evidence it accepts. Sixele is built to give her record the strongest footing it can have.
If she has not heard of Sixele
Read what it offers her first, so you can explain it in your own words when you are somewhere private together.
